I have added more documentation and a test example (which revealed that the LaTeX implementation or the documentation is wrong). I will have to fix this before we can proceed with latexml. Accepting this ticket until this is done.

Interestingly you mention \elide both on page 7 and page 20 of presentation.pdf.

The example and documentation are on page 20, page 7 has a motivating demonstration only. Let me know when I can try doing this in LaTeXML.

Btw, I find the \elide documentation a bit hard to digest at the moment, but maybe I just need to stare at it some more.

The whole elide stuff needs some thought. Also together with the JOBAD behavior. We should talk about this.
